DFW Housing in March 2026: Closings Increase, Listings Accumulate

DFW Housing saw the following results in March 2026:

  • Median Price at $385,000 or -2.5% vs March 2025 (YOY)
  • 30,767 Active Listings or +3.6% YOY
  • 71 Days on Market or +12.3% YOY
  • 8,229 closings or +4.8% YOY

While the market has tipped towards buyers in the past couple quarters, sellers are still reaping the benefits of a heavily-populated market that continues to grow and attract new businesses / economic development.

Sellers and their agents must work together to tailor a strategy that entails all three phases of the listing process, invest in marketing that will separate from the competition and price the property based on the available data.
