DFW Housing in July 2025: Closings Increase, Prices Stagnate

The DFW Housing Market was resilient as demand / closings increased while prices stagnated-- creating a more favorable environment for buyers.

July 2025 in DFW saw the following results:

  • $400,000 closing amount or 0.0% vs July 2024 (YOY)
  • 37,350 active listings or +29.2% YOY
  • 55 Days on Market or +19.5% YOY
  • 8,821 closings or +5% YOY

With mortgage rates declining and prices stagnating, The DFW Market continues to tip in the favor buyers-- an increase in listings as brought price reductions and concessions to buyers that weren't there just a few years ago.
